Scalable Clock Synchronization Analysis: A Symmetric Noncooperative Output Feedback Tubes-MPC Approach

In the cyber-physical environment, the clock synchronization algorithm is required to have better expansion for network scale. In this paper, a new measurement model of observability under the equivalent transformation of minimum mean square error (MMSE) is constructed based on basic measurement unit (BMU), which can realize the scaled expansion of MMSE measurement. Based on the state updating equation of absolute clock and the decoupled measurement model of MMSE-like equivalence, which is proposed to calculate the positive definite invariant set by using the theoretical-practical Luenberger observer as the synthetical observer, the local noncooperative optimal control problem is built, and the clock synchronization system driven by the ideal state of local clock can reach the exponential convergence for synchronization performance. Different from the problem of general linear system regulators, the state estimation error and state control error are analyzed in the established affine system based on the set-theory-in-control to achieve the quantification of state deviation caused by noise interference. Based on the BMU for isomorphic state map, the synchronization performance of clock states between multiple sets of representative nodes is evaluated, and the scale of evaluated system can be still expanded. After the synchronization is completed, the state of perturbation system remains in the maximum range of measurement accuracy, and the state of nominal system can be stabilized at the ideal state for local clock and realizes the exponential convergence of the clock synchronization system.

光纤电流互感器自适应温度补偿系统

针对光纤光栅(FBG)电流互感器容易受到温度影响这一特性，设计了一种基于STM32单片机的光纤光栅电流互感器温度补偿系统。通过单片机实现PID自适应控制算法，锁定电流互感器输出的电压值恒定在静态工作点，从而实现电流互感器不受外界温度影响得到稳定的电流信号输出。实验结果表明，在22~39 ℃范围内，输出电压稳定度在±1%以内，解决了电流互感器受限于环境温度的问题，实现了电流与温度的同时测量。经过此方法改进后的电流互感器测量精度高、系统结构简单、成本低、可靠性高，加快了光纤光栅电流互感器的实用化进程。     

New exact solutions of the coupled sine-Gordon equations in nonlinear optics using the modified Kudryashov method

The main aim of this article is studying the coupled sine-Gordon equations in nonlinear optics, which describe the propagation of an optical pulse in fibre waveguide. New exact solutions of the coupled sine-Gordon equations have been derived through the use of the well-organized modified Kudryashov method.     

A Global Maximum Error Controller Based Nonlinearity Aware TPWL Method for Reducing Nonlinear Systems

Abstract

Model order reduction is a common practice to reduce large order systems so that their simulation and control become easy. Nonlinearity aware trajectory piecewise linear is a variation of trajectory piecewise linearization technique of order reduction that is used to reduce nonlinear systems. With this scheme, the reduced approximation of the system is generated by weighted sum of the linearized and reduced sub-models obtained at certain linearization points on the system trajectory. This scheme uses dynamically inspired weight assignment that makes the approximation nonlinearity aware. Just as weight assignment, the process of linearization points selection is also important for generating faithful approximations. This article uses a global maximum error controller based linearization points selection scheme according to which a state is chosen as a linearization point if the error between a current reduced model and the full order nonlinear system reaches a maximum value. A combination that not only selects linearization points based on an error controller but also assigns dynamic inspired weights is shown in this article. The proposed scheme generates approximations with higher accuracies. This is demonstrated by applying the proposed method to some benchmark nonlinear circuits including RC ladder network and inverter chain circuit and comparing the results with the conventional schemes.

Vibration control of laminated truncated conical shell via magnetostrictive layers

Abstract

In this study feedback control is applied to control the free vibration response of an isotropic truncated conical shell embedded with magnetostrictive layers. Classical shell theory is applied to derive the shell vibration equations. The results are derived based on the Galerkin method and the results are compared with published results and the results of finite element software in order to determine the accuracy of using method. The influence of several parameters such as the thickness of magnetostrictive layers, control gain, length and radius of the large edge of the shell on the vibration suppression of fundamental frequency is determined.
